Just like how we have LOL and YOLO now, young intellectuals in the 1830s also had their abbreviations but would intentionally misspell these coded messages. Examples include:
“No Go”= “KG” (Know Go)
“All Right”= “OW” (Oll Wright)
“No Use” = “KY” (Know Yuse)
“Enough Said” = “KC” (Knuff Ced)
And finally,
“All Correct” = “OK” (Oll Korrect)
